Eric Neil Kaatz, 47, of Bastrop Texas, passed away peacefully on 19th of March, 2023 while sleeping.
Eric was born in Taylor, Texas on July 27, 1975, the son of Michael Kaatz and Carri Whitehead.
He was predeceased by his mother, Carri.
He is survived by spouse, Kristina Kaatz; children and step-children: Dylan, Kaden, Hyanci, Destini, and Dareana; father, Michael "Mike" Kaatz; brothers: Matthew and Nicholas "Nick" Kaatz; sisters: Kaeli McCrady and Calli Farris; grandchildren: Brandon and Lillana Dugat; and several nieces and nephews.
Eric was a loving man who would always try and help others before himself. Eric never knew a stranger and was a big brother to most everyone in his life. He loved his family and a good game of pool.
To honor Eric's wishes there will be no funeral services, and a Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Koenig-Belvill Funeral Home & Cremations, 208 W. Pearl, La Grange, Texas. Family and friends can view and sign the guestbook online at www.lagrangefunerals.com.
