Gerald G. Kaatz

Gerald G. Kaatz age 85 passed away May 5, 2025, at Cranberry Park, Clio, MI. Gerald loved to fish, do woodworking, farming, gardening and spending time with family. He was employed at the Michigan Sugar Company in Sebewaing, MI and GM Foundry, Flint, MI. Gerald was a member of Colling Church of the Nazarene in Unionville, MI. Gerald is survived by his son's Herbert (Irene) Kaatz, William Kaatz, daughter Tammy (Dave) Holland, brother Daniel Kaatz, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by the love of his life Shirley Kaatz whom passed away February 2025, parents Anna and Hugo Kaatz, sister's Betty (Gary) Parson, Bonnie (Larry) Bloomfield, Maryann Pizenzia and Shirley Johnson. Thank you to Transitions Hospice Team for taking care of him and Cranberry Park transitions staff and to Patricia for taking care of Gerald. A private family service will be held.
