Eric W. Lambert

Eric W. Lambert, passed away August 27, 2025 at the age of 60 in Panama City, Florida surrounded by his loving family, after fighting a long, stubborn, and courageous battle with cancer.

Eric was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Gail Ford and Walter Lambert on May 3, 1965. He grew up in Wareham, Massachusetts where he played hockey, enjoyed building cars, and riding dirt bikes.

As an adult he answered the call of his country where he served in the United States Navy from 1983 to 2007. As an active-duty sailor, he served as a Hull Technician, and later, as a member of the Naval Reserves, he proudly joined the Seabees. Throughout his military career, Eric served in multiple major operations, including Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Upon leaving the military, Eric transitioned into a successful career as a plumber. In Bay County, Florida, he earned a reputation as a skilled and dependable tradesman - a bit of a local legend in the plumbing community. Over the years, he worked for several respected companies, including Easom Plumbing, Peaden, and System Services and Engineering. His work helped shape much of the beachside community that locals and visitors enjoy today.

Eric has left his mark on Bay County and his memory will live on through his wife of 40 years, Joyce Lambert; his children Eric M. (Amanda) Lambert and Erin (Adam) Lambert; his grandchildren Mason, Hunter, McKenna, Ella, and McKayla; his mother, Gail Ford; siblings Lynne (Mark) Farrell and Neil (Kim) Lambert; fathers-in-law Dennis Levasseur and Benny Miller; and many more extended family members.

He is preceded in death by his father, Walter Lambert, mother-in-law Dorothy Levasseur, and brother-in-law, Donald Davis.

A celebration of life will be held at the VFW in Parker, FL on September 2, 2025 at 2:00 pm in every day dress, as he would have wanted. In lieu of flowers, at Eric's final request, please donate to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his name as no child should have to go through the pain he has endured.
