Eric John Puentes, 44, of Galveston, TX, gained his wings, August 7, 2024, at Clear Lake regional hospital in Webster, TX.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m., August 17, 2024 with a visitation from 11:00 - 12:00 p.m., at Emken-Linton funeral home in Texas City, Tx. Burial will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park cemetery in Hitchcock, Tx.

Eric John Puentes was born March 10,1980 in Galveston, Tx. He was a project manager/estimator with I-I Solutions. He was an avid poker and pool player. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends while fishing, playing basketball and especially cooking crawfish.

Eric is survived by mother, Jackie Rife and stepdad Randy Rife; father, Johnny Puentes wife Tonya Puentes; wife, Anna Puentes; two sons, Julian, and Jacob; three daughters, Victoria, Angela, and Amiya; two granddaughters, Kynnedi and Kyndalynn. Other survivors include brother, Daniel; sister, Amanda; father and mother-in-Law, Albert and Donna Salcido Sr., and an abundance of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews as well as numerous family and friends.

He is proceeded in death by daughter, Tiffani Puentes; grandmothers, Lucia Puentes and Frances Bolton; grandfather, Jack Bolton Sr; cousins, Joe Lewis Puentes, Jr, Phillip Bustamante, Alex Vega and cousin, Derrick Andrew Breaux 

Pallbearers include Edward Bustamante, Daniel Puentes, Jacob Salcido, Julian Salcido, Noel Ramirez, Albert Salcido Jr, Moises Mariness, Artemio Gonzalez.

Honorary Pallbearers Albert Salcido Sr, Johnny Puentes along with several bonus brothers.
