Eric S. Reiss, 53, of Richland Township, Quakertown, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.

Born on September 28, 1972, in Sellersville, he was a son of the late Wayne H. and Linda D. (Nace) Reiss.

Following high school at Southern Lehigh, Eric entered the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 375’s Electrician Apprenticeship Program. He graduated in 2002 as a Journeyman Electrician and later went on to attain his Master Electrician License. He was currently contracted with Pagoda Electrical of Mohnton and was extremely accomplished in his profession.

A self-taught and driven man, Eric had a limitless desire to take on an array of projects. It wasn’t uncommon to find Eric outdoors on a tractor, in his Jeep, using power tools, operating his chainsaw, or simply chopping wood. He was hard-working and loved providing for his family. His on-the-go routine was known to naturally push those around him to accel and do their best.

When he wasn’t tackling projects around his home, he was an active member of several local organizations. He belonged to the Coopersburg Fire Company, Upper Saucon Social Quarters, North Penn Gun Club, and the Masonic Lodge 512 of Quakertown. He was a former member of the Quakertown Moose.

Outside of social memberships, Eric loved boating, fishing, golfing, camping, traveling, spending time with family and friends, attending concerts, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, and playing a spirited game of cornhole or shuffleboard.

Above all, Eric was a proud father. He adored his children and prioritized giving them great experiences, teaching them, and enriching their lives. Watching them advance in school, Scouting, personal interests, or sports, and develop into wonderful human beings gave him the utmost joy.

In addition to his parents, Eric is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Orvis and Elizabeth “Betty” Nace, as well as an uncle: Kevin Nace.

Eric will be lovingly remembered by his wife of eighteen years, Liane D. (Keller) Reiss, whom he met on July 28, 2000; daughter Paige; son Grady; sister Tammy (Reiss) Cole; as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

A viewing will be held at the C.R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 821 West Broad Street, Quakertown, on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
