With great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved son, father and friend, Eric Cole Spector. Eric, age 28, passed away on April 27, 2024 in Stuart, Florida. He was born on November 29, 1995 in Newtown, Pennsylvania.
Eric grew up in Palm City, Florida and was a beloved member of the community. From a young age, he showed a strong work ethic and spent many years working at a local pizzeria before becoming part owner of his family's sub shop, Rocky's Sub Shop. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors and cherished the company of his friends and family. Eric was a loving father to his daughter Rachel, and always made time to play video games with her and be present in her life. He enjoyed making people laugh and had the ability to brighten someone's day with just his presence. He was a true, dedicated friend who was always there for those who needed him. Despite facing his own challenges, Eric remained strong and resilient, and was truly deserving of joy. Eric had a huge heart and cared deeply for everyone, especially his family.
Eric will be remembered for his kind heart, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Rachel, and her mother, Shelby, his brothers, Craig and Aron, his niece, Shannon, his parents, Robert and Terrianne, two dogs, Drago and Zoey and all those who were lucky enough to know him.
A graveside service will be held in honor of Eric's life on Thursday, May 2, 2024 1:00pm at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) organization in Eric's name. Eric's legacy will live on through the memories and love he shared with those around him. We pray Eric finds eternal peace and serenity, and may his memory live on and bring comfort to those who loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
