Eric Stroy Obituary
Eric Stroy, age 48, passed away on August 19, 2025, from a blood disease. He was a life-long resident of Geauga County and worked as a mechanic at Sohar’s All Season Mower Service. He enjoyed his Jeep, fishing, off-roading, camping, remote controlled cars, and anything that had to do with the outdoors. Eric was a fun uncle and loved sharing his passion of adventure with others.
He was preceded in death by his father Henri. Eric is survived by his mother Judy; sister Heidi McKenzie (John); niece Elizabeth McKenzie and nephew Jack McKenzie; many cousins and many friends; and his dogs Ellie and Hazel and cat Bean.
Family and friends are welcome on Tuesday August 26, 2025 from 4-7pm at St. John Funeral Home, 16381 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls OH 44023, where Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday August 27, 2025 at 11am. Burial Restland Cemetery, Bainbridge Township.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Eric’s name to an animal rescue or shelter of your choice.
