Years ago when Eric started to build a house that I poured the foundation for, is when I met him and got to know him. After pouring the foundation I had moved on to other things. So the beginning of summer Eric went to pass me when I was on my four wheeler and ended up recognizing me and asked if I wanted to make some money because he had gotten the house put on the poured foundation. Eric was so greatful that I agreed. I was at a time in my life where anything would help, this guy would pick me up, feed me lunch, and drop me off with a little money in my pocket. Now this is neither here nor there that he paid my $10 bucks an hour but ya know what, he was damn good to me, so to his family if u wish, I have no problem with finishing what I started with Eric and the house. This wasn´t just a job for me. We got pretty close and I´m so glad I got to meet him. You should have seen the day he rolled up on his Harley. Grinning ear to ear. I gave him my leather riding jacket to keep the chill off him for the ride home and one more solid, a guardian bell. He is good company. I can still hear his voice when he would say" Any Who " instead any how. I miss him already and my prayers go out to his family. R.I.P. Eric, luv ya man!

My Uncle/godfather was the most selfless person you could ever meet. He was the type to give his last bit of money to a homeless person, give up his own shirt to another person in cold weather, and go out of his way to make sure those around him were thriving.
Some memories I will never forget:
- Him always taking my cousin and I tubing behind the boat and laughing so hard when he would finally dump us off.
- When I would stay at his house and he would always make sure there was breakfast for when my cousin and I woke up.
- One time my cousin and I missed the bus for school, and we knew we would be in trouble so we hid in my basement until my mom left for work. And then we called him explaining what happened... he was at my house to bring us to school within 30 mins. And he called the school to excuse us. (He never told my mom)
- When he took my cousin and I on a four wheeler ride, and we were going up a steep hill so he put his arm back holding the two of us on. But eventually he told us to just get off because he didn´t want us to fall off lol.
- At every single holiday He would watch TV in the living room and eventually fall asleep in what looked like the most uncomfortable way haha. But he would always wake up and start doing the dishes, while the whole family told him he didn´t need to.
Life will never be the same without him.. We all love and miss you so much.
