Eric Wagner Obituary
Born September 27, 1967 in Rowan County, he was the son of James Wandle Wagner and Sharon Coble Wagner of Cleveland.
Scotty lived at RHA Myron Place Group Home in Salisbury for many years. He loved the staff who took such good care of him, which we will forever be grateful. Their kindness to Scotty and thoughtfulness will always be remembered.
Scotty was true Tar Heel and Dallas Cowboy fan. He loved to read the Salisbury Post, especially the sports section with the current scores of his favorite team.
When he was younger, he competed in Special Olympics, winning 135 ribbons and 22 medals! He enjoyed the competition.
Our fondest memories of Scotty are his sense of humor and his loving affection to all who knew him. He enjoyed all of the thoughtful cards sent to him at Myron Place.
Left to cherish his memory in addition to his parents are his brother, Kevin Wagner of Charlotte, nephew, Reid Wagner and niece, Erin Wagner.
We are so grateful for the doctors who took such good care of Scotty through the years, Drs. Pavelock, Wilson, Thompson, and Reynolds and the nurse at RHA Cleveland, the doctors and nurses at Novant Health Rowan Hospital and the staff at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.
The family will receive friends 11-12pm Saturday (July 26) at Unity Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will follow at 12PM at Unity Presbyterian Church with Pastor Derek Albea. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Unity Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 28, Woodleaf, NC 27054.

I worked with Scotty through the workshop. More importantly he was one of the top workers I had at the Food Lion contract! He was so proud to work off site and held his work to a very high standard! While of course wearing whatever jersey of his team that won the next day to kept them guys out there going! He was such a blessing and a great joy to work with and know!
