Erik Jason Looney (1978 – 2024)
Erik Jason Looney, affectionately known as Jason, passed away in Breaux Bridge, LA on July 25, 2024, at the age of 45.
Jason was born in Morgan City, LA in 1978 to Steven Looney and Susie Blanco.
Jason attended Morgan City High School proudly earning his GED later in life. He worked hard to become an Engineer in the Marine Industry. Jason was very outgoing and always had the ability to make anyone smile. He also loved to travel when given the opportunity and was a dedicated LSU football fan.
He is survived by his girlfriend Cheryl McDaniel; his father Steven and stepmother Connie Looney, brother Christopher (Katina) Looney, and brother Gregory (Tiffany) Looney.
He is preceded in death by his mother Susie Blanco.
Family, friends, and others are invited to attend Jason’s memorial in Morgan City, LA which will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M at Twin City Funeral Home. This will be an opportunity to reminisce and honor the life of Jason while carrying his memoryin our hearts.
