It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kent Thomas Broussard, of Morgan City, Louisiana, who departed this life on August 31, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on January 22, 1962, in El Paso, Texas, Kent was a kind-hearted individual known for his passion for technology and gaming. He spent countless hours building and working on computers, as well as immersing himself in the virtual worlds of video games, where he found joy and connection.
Kent is survived by his two loving daughters, Elizabeth Broussard and Catherine Broussard, who will forever cherish his memory. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Beth Jobe, and four adored grandchildren: Alyssa Broussard, Melissa Nice, Sophia Nice, and Mark Nice Jr. Each will carry the legacy of his love and affection in their hearts.
Kent was preceded in death by his wife Melissa Broussard and his parents Hugh and Mary Broussard; one son, Michael Broussard.
