Erik Charles Martini

Erik Charles Martini of Charlotte, age 54, passed away August 29, 2025, in Lansing, MI. Erik was born January 22, 1971 in Lansing, MI. He graduated from Holt High School and then attended Lansing Community College where he received his CDL training. Erik worked as a truck driver for over 32 years for several different companies, the last 5 years for Meijer. He enjoyed being in the outdoors hunting and fishing.

Erik is survived by his mother and step-father, Marilynn (Gerald Lloyd) McKinney of Lincolnton, GA; brother, John Patrick Martini of Lyman, SC; life partner, Cherie Martini of Charlotte; second mom, Sandra K. Hamilton; aunts and uncles, Donald F. McKinney of GA, Susan M. Garland of Charlotte, William H. Amsdill of Eaton Rapids, Margaret L. Dowding of Onondaga, Marie A. Kidder of Rives Junction, Mark D. Amsdill of Onondaga as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his adoptive father Charles A. Martini in 1998.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 1pm at the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel, 518 S. Main Street, Eaton Rapids, MI, 48827. Visitation will be from noon until the start of the service. Online condolences may be made at www.millsfuneral.com.
