Shawn Drummey Obituary

Passed away August 13, 2025, at the age of 63. Shawn was born in Berkeley, California on February 25, 1962, the son of George and Lynne (Scanes) Drummey. He graduated from Grosse Point South High School in 1980. After high school, Shawn attended Northern Michigan University. He then worked as a Manufacturing Rep after taking over his father's business.
Shawn is survived by his wife, Susan Drummey nee Verbeke; son, Samuel Forest Drummey; sister, Kimberly Hunt (David) and brother, Patrick Drummey; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Shawn was a kind soul and loved by many. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel in Eaton Rapids. To leave condolences for the family, visit our website www.millsfuneral.com.

Shawn & my son Bill met each other playing Little League baseball at Kerby Field. My late husband & I became good friends with his parents Lynn & George as well as with the Scanes. It saddens me to learn of Shawn´s death at such an early age. My sincerest condolences to his wife, son, sister, brother, nieces & nephews.
