Jon Arthur Field

Jon Arthur Field of Eaton Rapids,
Passed away October 1, 2025, at the age of 78. Jon was born in Charlotte, Michigan on March 5, 1947, the son of James and Beryl (Page) Field. A proud graduate of Potterville High School, Jon's adventurous soul and dedication to his country were made evident when he served as a mechanic in the Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service, Jon returned to his roots in Michigan and forged a successful career at General Motors, where he worked until his retirement in 2006. He relished the simple pleasures of life. Whether it was casting a line into a still lake, going for a motorcycle ride or finding the next treasure to add to his coin and paper money collections. Jon will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Robin Field of Eaton Rapids; children, Jessica Sigourney, Adam Sigourney; grandchildren, Alex Field, Brianne Luke, Ethan Leonard, Xandra Leonard, Leston Hewitt, Liah Sigourney; sister, Judy Celmen. Jon was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jason Field; brothers, Jack Field, Jimmy Field.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Fort Custer National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the VFW of Charlotte, 695 Lansing Rd, Charlotte MI 48813. Arrangements were entrusted to the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel in Eaton Rapids. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
