I was so fortunate to know Erik and his sisters when they were young children at Harvard. Their family welcomed me into their home and I have so many fond memories of watching them grow. I loved my time with them and I am so grateful to celebrate and honor Erik´s life. You are loved.

Kristine, Steve, Katrina, and Annika,
I'm holding the memories of first meeting Erik when he and Katrina were just five, coming together to a German Department gathering and tolerantly allowing the adults to do our boring adult things. And grateful for seeing Erik growing up in the years at Eliot House. I know how much he was loved in all the visible and invisible ways that you love, and I treasure having been able to appreciate him on his path here.

Dear Stephen, Kristine, Katrina and Annika,
We were so sorry to hear of Erik's passing. Despite the distance, I've always been struck by how Katrina's stories of you all show how close you are as a family. The shortness of Erik's life is cruel, but the effect of his love and his service to others will endure.
With all our love and thoughts,
Huw, Becca and family xx

We are deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved son. His death is a heart wrenching tragedy. His obituary described a young man who lived his life fully with heart and soul, surrounded by a loving family. Our world could use more people like Eric.
