Erik Rohr Obituary
Erik Dalton Rohr, 31 of Zanesville, passed away on June 24, 2024, after a motorcycle accident.
He was born on March 3, 1993, in Marysville, Ohio, son of David Rohr and Jennifer (Houck) Luckett. Erik graduated from Philo High School in 2011. He worked in construction and later in Tree Services.
All who knew Erik, loved him. He was a very bright light in a dim world. For those who didn't know him, would soon know him, as he made friends with everyone he encountered. He was a very bright, outgoing, and compassionate soul.
Making and singing his music was his passion. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing guitar, and traveling. Above all, he loved spending time with his children and loved ones.
Erik is survived by his mother, Jennifer (Danny Price) Luckett; fiancé, Sierra Sprowls; father, Dave Rohr; children, Kire Rohr, Vernon Rohr; 3 siblings, Joshua (Kayla Wisecarver) Rohr, Payton (Colt Stonerook) Rohr, Dustin McWhorter; 3 half siblings, Weston, David, and Alli; special friends, Adam Kennedy, Bryan Gessel; grandparents, Pam & Harry Nutter, Larry & Vicky Houck; nephews, Jasper, Airius, Hudson, Jr., and Jase; niece, Morgan; uncle Larry (Heather) Houck; and many other friends and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his aunt, Carrie Rohr.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday June 29, 2024, from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 4:00 PM with Rev. Darren Tolbert officiating. Per Erik's wishes, a dignified cremation will be held following services.
