Earlene "Yvette" Taylor, 63, passed away from this earth unexpectedly at her home on or around September 14, 2025. Earlene was born September 14th,1962, in Osage County, Oklahoma. The oldest child of Charles and Olivia (Sparks) Shacklefoot. Earlene lived most of her life in Pawhuska where she attended local schools and graduated from Pawhuska High School in 1981. Earlene worked for many years as a nurse. She took pride in caring for her patients, whether in the hospital or sharing her famous homemade remedies. She also served as a home health caregiver and Detention Officer with Osage County Sheriff's Office. In her free time, she loved listening to music, playing cards, especially cooking and baking. Earlene could throw down in the kitchen.

Earlene is preceded in death by her mother, Olivia Shacklefoot; Father Charles Shacklefoot; brother, Kenny Shacklefoot; sister, Betty Shacklefoot; two children, Stephanie Taylor and Kendall Taylor.

Earlene is survived by her brothers Vernon Shacklefoot, Chris Cochrane, Caleb Cochrane, and Charlie Shacklefoot. Sisters LaDonna Johnson and Mae Tisdale. Two daughters, Crystal Shacklefoot/Taylor and Amber Taylor. Grandchildren: Kiana Taylor, Nevaeh (Noah) Willson, Tyrek Taylor, Seryna Gonzalez, Brooklyn Taylor, and Sirr Taylor. She was also blessed with great-granddaughters Kemptyn and Kendyll Willson, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.

Arrangements are entrusted to Kendrick McCartney Johnson Funeral Home.
