Former Pawhuska resident Barry Ames Langham, 77, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at his home in Oklahoma City, OK.
Barry was born June 26, 1948, in Fairfax, OK, the son of John Wesley and Priscilla (Webber) Langham. He was a graduate of Pawhuska High School. On October 1, 1965, he married his high school sweetheart, Lois Elias, in Pawhuska. They had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Barry was a graduate of the University of Tulsa, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering, retiring from the field in 2016. He was a member of the Society of Engineering and the Toastmasters Club. He was also a member of the Oklahoma City Gun Club, where he enjoyed shooting sports clays and League shoots.
Surviving family includes his wife, Lois Langham; son Chris Langham and spouse, Christa; daughter Lori Langham; and grandkids Wesley John Langham and Brayden Barry Langham. Barry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Priscilla Langham, and his sister, Diane Langham Sumpter.
Viewing will be held at the KMJ Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 21 at 1-2pm.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2:30PM, in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Pastor Reece Player will officiate. Interment will follow.
