Erlinda Mendiola

Erlinda Mediola, born March 12, 1960 in Natalia, Texas to parents Raul Sanchez and Beatrice Hernandez, entered into eternal rest June 3, 2025 at the age of 65. Erlinda was preceded in death by her father, Raul Sanchez; mother, Beatrice Sanchez; and son, Sunny Sanchez. She is survived by her spouse, Santos Rios; sons, Sunny Sanchez, Santos Rios II (Patty), Max S. Mendiola; daughters, Debra S. Rodriguez (Julian), Frances S. Mendiola (John); brothers, Daniel Sanchez (Betty), Raul Sanchez II (Sylvia); and sister Grace Deleon.16 grandchildren, Santos III, Jason, Sky Lynn, Samantha, Benjamin, Nadia, Lorenzo, Lilyana, Sunny, Luke, Dylan, Reanna, Angelica, Destiny, Sabrina, Aurora; 9 nieces & nephews, Daniel II, Danielle, Terry, Dan, Grace, Toni, Tracy, Michael, Arlene and Raul. Erlinda loved having family gatherings and watching her grandkids grow. She enjoyed laughter with everyone and anyone. Erlinda's home was always open and filled with the aroma of her famous tamales. She taught us the importance of kindness and the value of hard work, and the power of a mother's love. We will miss Erlinda more than words can say and loved her so very much.
Funeral services are as follows:
Thursday - June 12, 2025: Visitation 5-8pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237 with a rosary being recited at 6:30pm.
ALL FUNERAL SERVICES WILL CONCLUDE THURSDAY AT 8PM.
