Erma Marie Kneller

On January 9, 2026, Erma Marie Kneller, 86, passed away peacefully at Pappus House, Thomasville, PA. Erma was born January 24, 1939, in Glen Rock, the daughter of the late Ralph and Bertha (Forry) Kneller.

Erma, along with her sister Ruth, loved singing gospel music. She and Ruth both found joy in their beloved cat, Poncho; having yard sales; starting tomato plants to share with others; and staying in touch with their devoted neighbors and friends. Erma was a member of St. Jacobs Stone United Church of Christ, Glenville, where she sang on the choir, often shared her gospel music with her beloved Stone Church family, and sang duets with her dear friend Jonas Sterner, Organist and Music Director. Erma had a sweet tooth and enjoyed cookies and other treats.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews and her good friend Juanita Joines. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Silas and Albert Kneller; her sister-in-law Janice Kneller; and her beloved sister Ruth Kneller.

Public viewing will be held Thursday, January 15, from 10:00am until a funeral service begins at 11:00am at St. Jacob's Stone UCC, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville, PA 17329. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to the church at the address above or to Pappus House, 66 Big Mount Road, Thomasville, PA 17364.
