Born June 13, 1964, in Cumberland, MD, Jerry was the son of Ernest Gerald Ashenfelter, Sr., and the late Dolene Jeanette (Henderson) Ashenfelter. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law: Floyd Merica.
Besides his father, Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 31 years: Carolyn (Roy) Ashenfelter; his brother: Michael Ashenfelter; his sisters: Darla Bradshaw, Karen Hedrick, and Trina Dye (Roy); his brothers-in-law: Carl Roy, and Wayne Roy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, April 26, 2024 at 11:00 A.M., with Tim Wotring officiating.
Interment will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
