It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ernest C. Buzzell, fondly known as Sonny, 81, of Loudon, NH. He passed peacefully at his childhood home, in the same room his mother had given birth to him in.
Sonny was born June 28, 1943, to the late Ernest and Marjorie (Marston) Buzzell.
He leaves behind his two children, David Buzzell (Marlena) and Priscilla Buzzell Sheran (Michael), his sister Maybelle Fisher (Late Emery), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
As a kid Sonny enjoyed working on the family farm, being around and working with animals, and being a 4H member, where he found his passion for woodworking. He went on to make several things for his family, recently making rocking chairs for his great grandchildren. He also had a love of riding his motorcycle, which both his kids and their spouses have a love for too.
In his earlier years he and his buddies raced stock cars right here in Loudon, back when it was Bryar’s. He also enjoyed taking his kids, when they were younger, out snowmobiling, which his son David still loves to do.
For most of his life he drove truck and spent years working for Rivco, then went over the road for Mayflower as an owner/operator. Most recently he drove a milk truck for DFA, where he enjoyed talking with the farmers.
He will be greatly missed by his family.
Please join his family for his burial on May 9, 2025, at 11:00am at the Moore Cemetery on Church Street in Loudon, followed by a walk down to the family home for a celebration of Sonny’s life.
