Dear family of Ernie Casey, I was so sad to hear of his passing. I have not seen or heard from him in so many years but I DO remedy his calling me after I had graduated from UNC-CH to check in and congratulate me. Now it is too late for me to tell him how very proud I was of him and his amazing career as he helped protect our country. May you each feel God's love and protection as you face this next phase of your life.

I am so sorry to hear of Ernie“s passing. He was a great friend starting in elementary school. I had caught up with him on social media in the last couple of years. I realized how much his family meant to him, but he never mentioned he was sick. I am thankful for his service for our country and will be praying for his family. My love to each one of them.
