Ernest E. Chubb Jr.

Ernest E. Chubb, Jr., beloved father of Ernest "Ernie" E. Chubb, III, Ariel J. Chubb, and Emily A. Chubb, peacefully passed away on March 10, 2024. He was the cherished son of the late Ernest E. Chubb, Sr. and the late Leonora G. (nee Michel) Chubb. Ernest was also a dear brother to Michele M. Pappas, and a loving uncle to Harry Pappas, III, and his wife Michelle, Melena McHale, and her husband Scott, along with several great nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his close friend Gary Mullaney and his wife Linda, who held a special place in his heart.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc. located at 7401 Belair Road in Overlea on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Funeral services will begin at 12:30pm at the funeral home. Ernest will be laid to rest at the Moreland Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org), a cause Ernest held dear to his heart.
Ernest will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
