After the Navy Buddy went to trade school to learn plumbing and started his own plumbing business which he ran successfully for 40 years.

In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by his brother, Larry A Cobb, and granddaughter Ashley Cobb.

Buddy leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and appreciation of the outdoors which he shared with his loving wife Kate Cobb; sons, Ernest "B.J." Cobb Jr., Kenny (Susan) Andrews, Shane Andrews; daughters, Brittany (Scott) French, Sarah (Brandon) Muse; brother, Barry Cobb; sisters, Carole Granato, Irma Nell (Roy) Conley, Joan Barnett; grandchildren, Dalton (Gabrielle) Cobb, Brooke Cobb, Blake Muse, Brynnan Muse, Connor Andrews, Chad Andrews, Mary Kate Andrews, Ansley French, Aniston French and a plethora of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends.
