Ernest A. Colelli, 70, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born in Italy on August 5, 1955, he was the son of the late Ernest C. and Jane Palmer Colelli. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mr. Colelli was Catholic by faith. Mr. Colelli was a retired corrections officer from State Correctional Institution of Greene Co. He served in the US Navy and US Army, was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and a fireman with 54 years of service with the Washington Twp. Vol. Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife Laurie Hileman Colelli to whom he was married to for 16 years, two stepchildren Ryan & Malissa Peck of Charleroi, Brett & Gina Seroka of California, granddaughter Giovannah Seroka, two brothers in law & sisters in law Scott & Darcy Hileman of Fayette City, Tom & Shawna Hileman of Belle Vernon, sister in law & brother-in-law Jamie & Jim Butz of Belle Vernon, and many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. The Washington Twp. Vol. Fire Department will conduct services Thursday at 6:30 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 10:00 AM with the Pastors Albert & Sandy Bashur officiating. Interment will take place in The Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
