HUDSON-Ernest "Gary" Cousino, Jr., age 56, of Hudson, formerly of Morenci, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, July 23, 2025, in Jackson. Born in Hudson on January 14, 1969, he was the firstborn child of Ernest and Bonnie (Shaner).

Skilled in various trades, Gary worked as a carpenter flipping houses all over the State of Michigan as well as worked as an automobile mechanic through the years. In his spare time he enjoyed deer hunting, woodworking, riding his motorcycle, and building model cars. He was fun to be around and cared deeply for his family. He was a faithful companion to his beloved German-Husky, Tank.

He will be forever loved and missed by his mother, Bonnie Cousino of Adrian; son, Joseph Cousino of Morenci; daughter, Thereasa Cousino of Morenci; brother, James Cousino of Adrian; sister, Sara Cousino of Wauseon, OH; five grandchildren, Ashton and Aiden Shaffer, Cody Wagner, and Paige and Mason Cousino; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in his death by his father.

Per Gary's wishes, cremation will take place.

Memorial contributions in honor of Gary can be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements have been made with the guidance of the Marry Funeral Home, Morenci.
