Ernest Gordon Jr.

Ernest Gordon Junior was born on February 1, 1958, as the second son to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gordon Senior. Ernest Jr. was raised in Anthony, Florida, and was the prankster in the neighborhood growing up. With his outgoing personality, he made many friends.
He was a super athlete at North Marion High School (Mr. North Marion). He ate, dreamed, and slept football... making many touchdowns, field goals, and punts, which earned him many college scholarship offers, but he signed with South Carolina State University followed. by Arkansas UAPB.
While in college, he pledged the prestigious Fraternity Incorporated. As a "frat" he mentored many young men and women. He loved his "line brothers" and was known as "12 Karat Konnection".
After leaving college, he enlisted in the United States Air Force for 10 years earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. While in the Air Force, he played football and traveled around the world.
His last job after transitioning from the military was a Sprint/CenturyLink Technician. He was a peaceful humble man who love the church, his family, and friends. He was concerned about everyone he met.
He would give his last to help anyone in need, and took time out to visit his church,family, community and friends. Above all he was concerned about his soul salvation. He was a peaceful son, loving brother and one of the favorite nephews. He was also a great step-dad and the fun uncle and cousin. He was known as Brother Ernest, App, Dank, and Uncle.
He is survived by his Mother Margie Gordon, his brother Leonard, his sister Glema, his uncles Robert and Norman Powell, his aunt Doretha Thompson; stepdaughter Nina Saucier, a life long dear friends Ernestine and Auburn Faison, sister-in-laws and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
