Ernest Eaddy Mixon, Sr.

Mr. Ernest Eaddy Mixon age 73 went to his Heavenly Home on June 15. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:00 at the House of Prayer Holiness Church directed by Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Melton and Rev. Richard Mixon will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Elon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Mixon was born in Lydia a son of the late Coyt Mixon and Marie Register Mixon. He was a member of the House of Prayer Holiness Church. He retired from Roller Bearing after 43 years of service. He loved to deer hunt and loved fishing.

Surviving are two sons, John William Mixon, Hartsville and Ernest E. (Jennifer) Mixon, Jr. Hartsville; one brother, Rev. Richard (Judy) Mixon, Hartsville; two sisters, Pat Lloyd, Lydia and Ann McPherson, Lydia; two grandchildren Dayln Raybon and Gracelyn Mixon.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Beasley Mixon; two brothers, Coyt Mixon, Jr. and James Mixon; three sisters, Frances Glisson and Margaret Wallace and Gloria Watford.
