Ernest James "Ernie" Mount - Age 56 of Strawberry Plains, passed away on December 12, 2024. Ernie was more than just a man – he was a shining example of unconditional love as a son, husband, father, and grandfather. His love for his family knew no bounds. Anytime his family called, he was always there to lend a helping hand. His passion for fishing and taking his boat out on warm summer days was contagious. He cherished the holidays and loved every minute with his nearest and dearest. With a heart full of kindness and a smile that could light up the darkest of rooms, he will be deeply missed.

Ernie is survived by his parents, James and Allie Mount; his loving wife, Roxanne Parton Mount; son, Titus Mount; daughters, Shana Mount, and Megan Mount; and grandchildren, McKenzy Stiles, Tristen Stiles, Alexis Sosa, Brodie Wilson, and Cheyan Wilson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Bridges Funeral Home.
