Today Friday November 28th 2025, Ernest "Scott" Strouth went to be with the Lord. After many years of struggling with many illnesses Scott went to be with his Lord and Savior. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and papa.

As many of you know Scott was a painter the majority of his life. His favorite quote was " I can paint anything from the Sh*t house, to the White house". His brush may have stilled, but his vision lives on in the lives he touched, and he now paints the colors from heaven.

He is survived by his wife Tammy Strouth, and his four children. Dj Catlett, wife (Amanda), Karen Hamilton, husband (Cory), Shelby Murray, husband (Sean), and Meggan Simmons, husband (Craig). His mother Stella Strouth, and siblings Melissa Moody, husband (Jimmy), Toney Strouth, wife (Lisa), and Tracie Simpson, husband (Todd).

Scott's brightest colors will always be his grandchildren whom he loved with all his heart and soul. The rainbow of his life is Ayden, Abel, Adelyn, Emerson, Lincoln, Riley, Rachel, Autumn, Avery, Cameron, Maiya, Chrislynn, Colson, Jase, and Julie.

He's preceeded in death by his father Malcum Strouth, sister Cassie Rudder Strouth, and his grandparents John and Mary Strouth, and Ernest and Ruth Reaves.

A celebration of life will be held Friday December 5th,2025 @ 3328 Dr. Pickett Road Burlington NC 27215 from 6-9 pm.

MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE, AND HIS MEMORY LIVE ON FOREVER.
