Ernesto Camacho, 69, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and son whose strength, kindness, and quiet presence will be deeply missed.
Ernesto is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dora Camacho; his mother, Maria Camacho; daughters Dorene Carroll-Chacon, Mara Perez, and Enedina Gonzalez; and grandchildren Destinee Perez, Desiree Perez, Heaven Randolph, Marisa Randolph, Kaiden Gonzalez, Savannah Carroll, and Cason Chacon. He is also survived by a large and loving extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Felix Camacho; his brother, Lorenzo Camacho; and his grandchildren, Robert Carroll III and Aiden Carroll.
A graduate of Jefferson High School, Ernesto went on to retire from the Ysleta Independent School District after many years of dedicated service. He had a lifelong love for the Marine Corps, found peace in nature, and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a Rosary from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at:

Interment will take place on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at:
Fort Bliss National Cemetery
