Ernesto Guerra, age 31, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Cleveland Medical Center.
He was born on September 8, 1992 in Bellevue, Ohio to Ernesto and Dora (Ruiz) Guerra. Ernesto worked at Borgers Ohio in Norwalk and he enjoyed boxing, soccer, working out and running and was very friendly to all. He was not only a great father and loving brother, but also a fun uncle who loved his immediate family and the family he was creating with his wife and child. Ernesto is survived by his son, Elliot Ernesto Guerra, who notes his fond memories of going to Cedar Point, playing outside, and watching sports with his father. Ernesto was a kind hearted person with a love for all his family.
Ernesto is survived by his son, Elliot Ernesto Guerra; wife, Guadalupe Velasco; parents, Ernesto and Dora (Ruiz) Guerra; sister, Esmeralda (Manuel) Figueroa; brother Aaron (Brianna) Guerra; grandmother, Ramona Ruiz; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Daisy Guerra; maternal grandfather, Manuel Ruiz and paternal grandparents, Refugio Guerra and Antonia Castillo.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, August 28 from 10:00 AM until the time of his service at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Willard.
