Ernesto Rodriguez has gone to our lord on August 9th, 2025. Our loving father was 89 years young. He was born in Alamo, Texas 1935 to Manual and Guadalupe Rodriguez who resided in San Juan, Texas was born at my grandmother's home in Alamo. Texas. My dad met his future wife, Sara Mable Thornburgh, who fell in love and started their love story of 69 years.
Dad was one of 9 Children, Manuel Rodriguez, Roberto Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez proceeded him, who he now joins. Survived by Yolanda Rodriguez Twyman, Grace Ela Rodriguez Kirby, Maria Guadalupe Gonzalez. Rodriguez, Ricardo Rodriguez and Eduardo Rodriguez.
Ernesto was a loving and supporting husband and father to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dad worked hard all his life and made sure his family was taken care of through the good and bad times.
His life was family. When one of their children had an event, concert, parade, track meet, baseball game, Ernesto and Sara would be there. Dad did many things in his life, military, printer, teacher and much more. His moto was "we don't know everything, learn something new each day".
Family time was important, playing games, movies, etc. Ernesto Rodriguez was a remarkable, loving and devoted father. He and with his love of his life made sure the family came first.
Ernesto and Sara Rodriguez recently celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary on July 14, 2025.
Ernesto (Dad) will not be forgotten by his 6 children, Ernesto Rodriguez Jr. and Deborah Rodriguez, Marida Lynn Deihl and Harley Deihl, Joy Ann Futrell and Edward Futrell, Jeffery Allen Rodriguez and Jennifer Rodriguez, Christopher Bryan Rodriguez and LeAnna Marie Rodriguez Valdes and Miguel Valdes.
