Ervin R. Weaver

Ervin R Weaver, 73, of Denver, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Fairmount Homes on July 8, 2025.
He was born in East Earl to the late Ammon and Francis Weaver and was the husband of Mary J. Weaver whom he shared 12 years of marriage.
He was a man of strong faith and an active member of Hinkletown Mennonite Church. He loved playing fast pitch softball where he helped his team, SH Good, win 2 national championships in 1980 and 1981 as their pitcher. His team was recently inducted into the The Fast Pitch Softball Hall of Fame. He was part owner of Adamstown Equipment and Deer Country Farm and Lawn. He enjoyed collecting farm toys to display in his man cave. He was an avid hunter, hunting in Alaska, Canada and all over the US. He loved spending time with family, especially at the cabin and beach. He enjoyed traveling, playing games, motorcycle riding and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Mary J, he is survived by his daughter Kelli J., wife of Daniel Smith; a son, Joseph T., husband of Bethany Weaver; a daughter-in-law Carla Weaver; three stepchildren Brian, husband of Stacie Sensenig, Shawn, husband of Jodi Sensenig, Amy, wife of Adam Wentling; nine Weaver grandchildren; nine Sensenig grandchildren; two siblings, Irene, wife of Alvin Zimmerman and Ammon Weaver Jr., husband of Rebecca Weaver.
In addition to his parents, Ervin was proceeded in death by his first wife, Margaret R. Weaver and a son, Jared W. Weaver
The family wishes to thank all of the faithful staff at Fairmount Homes for their wonderful years of care.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, from 6 to 8 PM, at Hinkletown Mennonite Church, 2031 28th Division Highway, Ephrata. An additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 2 to 3 PM, at the church, followed by his memorial service at 3 PM, with Pastor Glenn Sauder officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
