Susan Bilger Obituary

She was born in Renovo, PA to the late Charles and Irene (Evanco) Dechant and was the wife of Marlin L. Bilger.
During her working years, Susan worked as a laborer for Sauder's. She was an avid fan of both the Phillies and the Eagles. Susan loved music and took great joy in her grandchildren and her family. She was a big supporter of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and their parish and enjoyed cheering on the Lancaster Catholic girls' basketball team.
In addition to her husband, Susan is survived by a son, Gerald, husband of Rachel Bilger of New Holland; a daughter, Karen Bilger of Ephrata; five granddaughters, Samantha, wife of Scott, Emily, Taylor, wife of Nathan, Casey, wife of Gage, Rebecca, wife of Joshua and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions in Susan's memory may be made to Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 320 Church Ave., Ephrata, PA 17522.
Arrangements by Stradling Funeral Homes, Inc., Akron/Ephrata.
