Clarence S. Auker

Clarence S. Auker, 95, of Ephrata, entered into rest on Friday, September 12, 2025, at his residence.

Born in Ephrata Township, he was the son of the late Weaver B. and Lizzie (Shaub) Auker and was the husband of the late Rachel M. (Martin) Auker, who passed away in 2011.

Clarence was a member of Stauffer Mennonite Church, Earl Township. During his working years, he was a farmer and buggy maker.

He is survived by a two sons, Jonas, husband of Brenda (Martin) Auker of Bainbridge, OH, David, husband of Noreen (Wanner) Auker of Port Trevorton; six daughters, Sally, wife of Alvin Stauffer of Selinsgrove, Mabel, wife of Abel Weaver of Mt. Pleasant Mills, Mary, wife of John Martin of East Earl, Susie, wife of Wayne Wenger of Tunas, MO, Lizzie, wife of Lamar Martin of Ephrata, Anna, wife of Tom Stauffer of Port Trevorton; 75 grandchildren; 232 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Pharse S. Auker, husband of Lena R. Martin and a sister, Mary S. Zimmerman.

In addition to his wife and parents, Clarence was preceded in death by a son, Eugene; a daughter, Lilly; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five brothers, Ralph, Paul, Earl, Weaver, and Raymond.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, at the late residence, 219 Hahnstown Road, Ephrata. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from the late residence, at 8:30 AM, with further services from Stauffer Mennonite Church, at 9 AM. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
