Erwin Guyett Obituary
Erwin was born in Burlington, Vermont to Erwin Walter Guyett Sr. and Marguerite Mary Sevene Guyett on May 22, 1948. Erwin attended school in Youngstown, Ohio where he went on to join the USMC, United States Marine Corp. During his time of service, he was awarded the Bronze Star with Combat V for his bravery during the Vietnam war.
Erwin is preceded in death by both parents, Erwin and Marguerite Guyett, his great grandson, Maddox Adam Guyett, son-in-law, Christopher Ruiz, and many close friends and extended family.
Erwin is survived by his wife, Debra C. Guyett, children Melissa Ridley (Craig), Erwin Guyett III (Melissa), Janice Ruiz, Christa Crouch (Bobby), Angela Swails (Jeff), Cathleen Guyett (Christopher Mori), 15 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren (soon to be 14), and a large group of friends that he considered family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for contributions to be made in his honor to the DAV, Disabled American Veterans.
