Erwin E. Jalbert

Erwin E. Jalbert, 76, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 29th, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Judy (Traywick) Jalbert, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage.
Born in Saint Francis, Maine, Erwin was the son of the late Earl and Fernande (Michaud) Jalbert. He moved to Chelmsford as a young child, where he was raised and graduated from Chelmsford High School, Class of 1968.
Erwin's first job was at Page's Drug Store, where he worked as a soda jerk. It was there he met Judy, and the two became high school sweethearts.
After graduation, Erwin worked in construction, property management, and eventually ran his own handyman business.
Erwin's greatest pride was his family. He loved cooking for them, golfing, and fishing. After 40 years of golfing, he proudly achieved a hole-in-one. Time spent with his family-especially his grandchildren-brought him the deepest joy.
Erwin is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his son, Kirk, and daughter-in-law, Marisa; his daughter, Tammy (Duggan), and son-in-law, Chris; and his cherished grandchildren, Michael Duggan, Matthew Duggan, and Bayard Jalbert-Manheim. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Arna Jalbert and Olivia Jalbert, as well as beloved in-laws, extended family, and dear friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Allen Jalbert.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 11 AM at Pine Ridge Cemetery, 130 Billerica Road, Chelmsford. Kindly gather at the cemetery.
