Erwin Miske Obituary
He preceded in death by his father, Friedrich Miske.
Erwin was born on November 21, 1951, in Molme, Germany and emigrated to the United States in 1952. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and resided in Westlake most of his adult life. Erwin earned an associate degree and worked as an EMT. He later became a firefighter for Rocky River Fire Department and retired after 28 years of dedicated service. Erwin was a lifelong member of the International Association of Firefighters and served as a secretary.
Erwin enjoyed traveling and was able to visit Alaska, South America, and Vancouver, Canada. He especially enjoyed trips with his son Tyler in Finger Lake New York; Nashville, Tennessee; and St. Louis, Missouri. He was also passionate about Golf and loved to play whenever he could.
Services for Erwin will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, with public visitation from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Rd., Avon, Ohio 44011. Private family interment at Lutheran Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
