Age 79, of Plum Boro., on Friday, August 15, 2025
Beloved father of Jill (Robert) Keresztury ; grandfather of Todd, Wade & Jacob; brother to Patricia, Stephen, Bridget, Michael,and James.
Edward was preceded in his passing by his wife, Catherine, and his daughter, Kelly Miske.
Ed was a radio man in the U.S. Navy. That love carried on outside of the service, being a HAM radio enthusiast. WA3SES was his call sign for many years. He enjoyed a day out the casino, playing all the card games, especially Black Jack. Ed was no fair weather fan when it came to the Pittsburgh Pirates, and all other Pittsburgh teams, rooting for them whenever he could.
Friends received, Friday, August 29th, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd./, 7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills, where a Blessing Service will be held, Friday, 12:00 pm. Interment in Plum Creek Cemetery.

Dear Jill and Family. I am so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I have known Ed for 47 years. We worked together at Allegheny Ludlum Steel. He was an always so kind to me and was always willing to take the time to teach me about the Telecom trade. I will truly miss talking to Ed and reminiscing the old days. May he Rest in Peace. We will miss you brother; and we will always remember your generosity and your kind heart. You truly had a sensitve demeanor and sincere care for others. Thank you Jill and Rob for the care you gave Ed in these past months. You and your family were very precious to him.
