Erzulie Vilsaint Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 8, 2025.
It is with profound sadness and grateful hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved matriarch, Madame Erzulie Vilsaint, who went home to be with the Lord peacefully on October 3rd, 2025, at the blessed age of 93.
Born on June 9th, 1932, in La Gonâve, Haiti, Erzulie lived a long and meaningful life rooted deeply in faith, love, and family. She later immigrated to the United States in search of a brighter future for her children, bringing with her the unshakable strength, hospitality, and rich traditions of her Haitian heritage. Maman Erzulie was a woman of prayer, compassion, and warmth. Her home was always open-a place of laughter, comfort, and the sweet aroma of her delicious Haitian cuisine. She was known for her gentle words, strong spirit, and boundless love that she shared with everyone who crossed her path. Her life was a living testimony of grace, hard work, and devotion. She taught her family to trust in God, stay united, and always help one another. Her presence will be dearly missed, but her legacy will forever live in the hearts of those she loved.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith cherished by her children: Maxo Georges, Anel Vilcin, Maryse Romsaint, Chelot Romain, and survived by Marie Maud Lamitié. She is also remembered by her beloved grandchildren: Marie Florence Lamitié, Michaëlle Lamitié, Jean Robert Junior Lamitié, Marie Lamitié, Anna Lamitié, Maxly Georges, Stanley Vilcin, Valencia Vilcin, Dvorsky Vilcin, Sophia Vilcin, Anel Junior Vilcin, Stanley Romsaint, Karla Rose Vincent, Kenny James Dugue, Ronald Renel Vincent, Diana Ross Innocent, Andrew Romain, Shanya Romain, Alyssa Romain, Shiloh King Romain, and survived by Fritzmann Junior Aubin. She is also blessed with thirty great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends who will continue to honor her memory with love and gratitude.
