It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Josephine Muccioli, devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great grandmother. She was born on November 21,1935 in the Crotona section of The Bronx.
In 1955, Josephine was married to Frank Muccioli also from The Bronx and they had two children Karen and Raymond who reside with their spouses Terry and Martha in Wilton and Norwalk respectively. Josephine's grandchildren are Steven Muccioli of Long Island, Katie Goodman of West Hartford, Ct, Chrissie Brewer and Andrew Brewer both of NYC. She was also blessed with two great grandchildren, Rosie and Cooper Goodman.
Josephine was an animal lover who adopted and cared for many cats throughout her life. Her professional life lasted well over 20 years at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan. She was a woman of great faith and an active member of St. Lucy's Church and The Holy Rosary Society at the parish in The Bronx.
Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all who knew her.
