Esteban was preceded in death by his wife, Aancelma Baltazar; and son, Octavio Salazar. He is survived by his children, Elia (Rey) Rodriguez, Venancio (Nicasia) Salazar, Julia (Enrique) Jaimes, Juan (Irenes) Salazar, Isidra Salazar, Gabriel (Ana) Salazar, Hortencia (Harry) Lorenzo, Toribia (Nicolas) Alejo, Laura Salazar, and Fernando (Juanita) Salazar; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
To access the evening visitation remotely, loved ones are encouraged to log on via Zoom (Meeting ID: 856 6254 1223, Password: 439947).
Mass will be at 11:30 AM, Friday, September 19, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 270 Division Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1001 Villa Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
Final arrangements entrusted to Symonds-Madison Funeral Home. For more information, call 847-741-1128.
