Emma L. Salazar, 90 years of age, from Clovis, NM, went to be with the Lord on October 2, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 6th, and Tuesday, October 7th, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for friends and family.
The rosary service is Wednesday, October 8, at 4:00pm
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 9th, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Franklin. Burial will follow at Texico Cemetery in Texico, NM.

Emma was born in Clovis, New Mexico, to Antonio Lucero and Pabilita Gonzales Lucero on October 20, 1934. She was married to Elias Salazar on May 3, 1952, in Clovis, NM.
Emma is preceded in death by husband Elias Salazar and youngest daughter Rosetta Salazar and son Victor Salazar. Parents Pabilita and Antonio Lucero, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers.
Emma is survived by her children. Barbara Salazar of Albuquerque, NM; Stella Salazar of Clovis, NM; Phillip Salazar of Roswell, NM; Elias Jr. Salazar; Paul Salazar of Clovis, NM; and Albert Salazar of Corpus Christi, TX.
Emma had 19 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, and 30 great-great-grandchildren. and 2 great-great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Phillip Salazar, Phillip Ben Salazar, Paul Salazar, Anthony Lucero, B.J. Lucero, Sabino Lazos, Sabino Lazos Jr., and Nichelle Garcia-Gutierrez. Honorable pallbearers are Albert Salazar and Elias Salazar Jr.
