Ester Reyes

It is with great sadness and deep love that we mourn the passing of Ester Martinez Reyes at age 78. Ester passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2023.
Ester was born on Thursday, September 28, 1944, in the Philippines to the late Guillermo C. Martinez and Marciana C. Martinez. Ester worked 23 years for the World Bank in Washington, D.C. before retiring to Pensacola, Florida in 1997. She was always a person devoted to her faith and prioritized her family above everything else in her life. Ester has always been a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to everyone. She enjoyed making jewelry, cooking, and watching movies. She was known for her grace, humble, kindness and compassionate spirit.
Ester will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Ruben; their children, Ronnie (Janet), and Earle (Nancy); grandchildren, Joseph, Grace, Nathan, and Elise; great-grandchildren, Hayden, AnaSophia, and Josiah; sisters Dorcas, Rebecca, and preceded in death by Ruth; brothers Samuel (Guillermo), Jose, Alfredo, and James; and many loving nieces and nephews. Ester will be forever missed in our hearts.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 11:30 PM – 12:30 PM, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at Trahan Family Funeral Home, 60 Industrial Boulevard, Pensacola, FL 32503. Burial will be commenced at 1:30 PM in Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508.
