Esther Eury Obituary
Esther is preceded in death by her loving husband, George Eury; a daughter, Judy Sumner and her husband, Ronald; her parents, Thomas, and Carrie Simmons; and half-brother, Bill Seagroves.
Esther is survived by her daughters, Wanda McCook (Ron) and Nancy Jones (Butch); her grandchildren, Todd Sumner (Kasey), Kyle Sumner, Trudy Robertson, Heather Martin, Katrina Brooks (Danny), and Joey Jones; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Joseph, Austin, Madison, Spencer, Connor, Emily, Graci, Abigail, Jace, Eastern, Hudson, Harper and Paisleigh; and a great-great grandchild, Emery.
Esther loved her job as a hair stylist and owner of Fashion Beauty Shop. She loved her church, Union View Baptist Church and loved to sing. She loved planting flowers and watching them grow, watching beautiful sunsets and looking at nature. She loved her family immensely and enjoyed spending time with them.
Funeral services are entrusted to Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel. Flowers are welcome or you may make a contribution to Union View Baptist Church or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be given by visiting www.lancasterfcs.com

I remember Esther fondly......for her candor and her excellent hair styling. Every Thursday for several years, after work, I had my hair done listening to everyone telling the lastest news in Franklinton. Later, after Wanda finished "beauty school", she did my hair as expertly as Esther. Wanda and Nancy, you are blessed for the parents you had to guide you and train you up in our Lord. I did not know of Judy's passing (I rarely hear all the news, even though I still reside in Franklinton); but I remember you all with fondness. God bless you and keep you in His care always.
