She was born on January 19, 1937, in Middletown, MD to the late Charles and Alice Smith Mongan.
Esther was employed by Heartfield of Frederick until her retirement.
She was of the Church of God faith.
She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Logan (Kenny) of Myrtle Beach, SC, daughter Jamie Gregory (JP) of Myrtle Beach, SC, daughter Kimberly Rice (Carl) of Boonsboro, MD, daughter Sharon Shaff of Myrtle Beach, SC, son Gary Shaff of Pocomoke City, MD, and daughter Brenda Earp of Smithsburg, MD; grandchildren Haley Harris, Mandi Rice, Joey Lowe, Chantell Logan, EJ Logan, Christina Terrill, Shyauna Harris, Makayla (KK) Gregory, Aleigha Gregory, Jessica Shaff, and Ashley Shaff; 8 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson Michael Earp; great grandson Thomas Leon Harris, IV; sisters Dorothy Jones and Lola Synder.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 10:00 11:00 am.
Graveside services will be held at Boonsboro Cemetery Boonsboro, MD on May 14, 2025, at 12:00 (noon) with Pastor Hartman officiating. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Esther, please visit our Tree Store.
