Esther Stevens Obituary
Born on August 29, 1946 in Frozen, Kentucky, she was a lifelong resident and a woman of Pentecostal faith.
Esther was the widow of the late J. B. Stevens and the daughter of the late Dorsie and Essie Burgett Mullins. She was also preceded in death by her brothers; Manual Mullins, Carl D. Mullins and Kenneth Ray Mullins and her sister, Irene Mullins.
She is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Irene Gross (David) and Donna Faye Stevens. Esther also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish their memories with her.
Throughout her life Esther found joy in simple pleasures. She loved playing bingo and painting pictures-creative outlets that brought color and laughter to her days. She enjoyed participating in games at the nursing home where she continued to share smiles and companionship with those around her.
Visitation for Esther will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Breathitt Funeral Home Chapel with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM with Leonard Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
