Esther M. Trozzo

Esther Trozzo, 93, of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 13th 2024.
Born on September 24, 1931, in Belle Vernon, PA, Esther Mae was the eldest daughter of Mary (Angelo) and Frank Guilano. Her childhood was marked by close family ties and a lively Italian household, setting the foundation for the devoted and creative life she would later lead.
After graduating from Belle Vernon High School, Esther married her high school sweetheart, Ernest "Sonny" Trozzo. Together, they built a beautiful life in Belle Vernon, and later Uniontown, raising their 5 beloved children. During these years, Esther worked as a telephone operator followed by a pursuit in cosmetology, while simultaneously nourishing her family with handmade meals crafted from ingredients grown in their backyard garden. Her boundless energy and dedication left those around her in awe.
In her later years, Esther embraced her artistic talents, exploring drawing, painting, and even learning to play the guitar. A masterful storyteller, she wove her vivid imagination into heartfelt poems for her loved ones and enchanting bedtime stories for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her creative spirit extended into a floral business with her son Todd, which she used not only to craft arrangements for family weddings, birthdays, and church events but also as a way to bring people together.
No visit to Esther's home was complete without a meal prepared with love. Freshly baked bread, homemade pasta sauce, and cookies were staples of her hospitality, a tradition she maintained for decades. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, and she had a profound devotion to Our Blessed Mother, whose influence shaped her nurturing heart and tireless commitment to her family.
Esther is survived by her children: Frank Trozzo, Debbie (David) Murello, Todd Trozzo, Brenda (Tim) Beck, and Jody (Autumn) Trozzo; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and nieces Mary Beth Melvin, Julie Cavalier, Toni Ann Nicastro, and Veronica Crisan, along with their families. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Ernest Trozzo, and her sister, Phyllis Melvin.
Family, friends, and community members are invited to celebrate Esther's life on Saturday, December 28, 2024. A Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, PA, followed by a reception.
